Dun Laoghaire West Pier, Co. Dublin

 
The west pier of Dun Laoghaire harbour is less frequented than the east pier and has an earthen track road and spectacular views of Dublin bay.  It was constructed between 1820 and 1827 and measures 1,548 metres.  The west pier is often quieter (not so much in Covid times!) and has better views of Dublin and Howth.
 
 Each 3 cm tile is mounted on card and has individual hand cut strips with a satin varnish. Finished with a single mount and a limed wood box frame, frame size 285mm x 285mm. (including hanger on the back)
